How long will it take?
How long does it take to develop a great web site? Maybe a
similar question is "How long is a piece of string?"
According to a recent survey in Adelaide, the piece of string
averages 6.47 metres in length, and we'd like to quantify the
time to develop a web site just as accurately if we could.
A simple web site can be up and running in a matter of hours.
A more complicated, custom, dynamic web site can take weeks,
months or more. In fact, most professional web sites are an
evolving, ever-changing entity – just like a real business –
growing, changing, meeting new needs.
The best strategy, is to decide what you want or need, get
an analysis done by a competent web developer, then devise a
plan and goals for implementing your web site.
